Thank you for a needed product. Not having to replace flares every three years is certainly welcome. The light and suction cup holder fit beautifully next to my EPIRB so both units are easy to access and quickly. The light itself is well constructed as is the holder. I look forward to more innovations from Sirius.
I brought the A-1001 SOS distress light to have a backup to my other electronic flare (MK1001). This distress light is built well and can be mount with the included suction cup mount. Also comes with daytime distress flag and whistle which I will use as a backup to the MK1001 kit.
The signal kit box is built well and the items inside as well. I like that I don't need to carry handheld flares for day and night. But I will probably still keep a flare gun aboard.
