    A family and environmentally safe alternative to the antiquated pyrotechnic flare! Powered by a high-performance programmable microprocessor controlling an SOS flash pattern in white along with an alternating infrared SOS flash, the Sirius Signal A-1001 has superior anti-corrosion protection to withstand the rigors at sea. Primary lithium cell CR-123 batteries are maintenance free and have a shelf life of ten years. Built to title 46 CFR 161.013. Approved for carriage (33 CFR 175.130) to substitute, or replace pyrotechnic marine flares used for required nighttime visual distress signals. Keep your signal within easy reach with this secure mount that easily creates a vacuum seal on any flat surface. Designed to withstand life on the water, the CSM-1000 mount can be used for storage as well as displaying your eVDSD in a prominent location during an emergency. The A-1001 Mini Solo detachable light can also be easily packed for hiking, biking, or any other adventure on land.
